Core Areas of Counseling for Victims of Right-Extremist Violence
Since 1998, Opferperspektive has been offering counseling services for victims of right-wing violence in the state of Brandenburg. Similar outreach centers have been established in the remaining states of Eastern Germany since then. The outreach centers work closely together and share a common approach.
Monitoring Hate Crimes and Victim Assistance in Poland and Germany
Since January 2008, Opferperspektive (»victim’s perspective«) has a new research project. It aims to explore approaches for monitoring right-wing violence in Germany and Poland as well as non-governmental assistance for victims of such attacks in the two countries.

»Victims of Right-Wing Violence in Germany 1990-2005« portrays 136 people who have been killed by right-wing extremists. It is a travelling exhibition by graphic artist Rebecca Forner and Opferperspektive in English and German. It has been shown in over 50 locations throughout Germany.
Monitoring Right-Wing Violence – Definitions and Assessment Criteria
On a daily basis, Opferperspektive researches incidents of right-wing hate crimes in the state of Brandenburg, publishes a running chronology and statistical analysis. The article by Kay Wendel gives a description of Opferperspektive’s definition of right-wing violence, the incongruities with the police account, and an assessment of the number of unreported crimes.
